Cross-Species Comparisons of Toxicokinetic Parameters to Evaluate In Vitro-In Vivo Correlation Performance for Commercial Chemicals
This study generated rat in vivo toxicokinetic data to derive bioavailability information for chemicals of interest to Agency program office partners. The data will be used in conjunction with in vitro TK data to evaluate factors that modulate bioavailability; and to more generally evaluate the role of species differences on in vitro-in vivo concordance and in vitro in vivo extrapolation performance. Such evaluations are important in identifying next steps needed to improve TK New Approach Methods.
